Virgin redwood slabs with very tight grain, 3″ thick x 10′ long, max 36″ wide. I have about 50 of these all from the same 50′ log. Slabs are partially dry. Tree section was buried for decades and appears to be left behind from logging 100 years ago. Some pieces have dark streaks. Others have some small holes from a certain kind of ant.
$10.00 board foot. (3″x36″x10′ is 90 board feet). There is no outside white wood left, all heart. These slabs will last a lifetime and beyond.
