The natural edge slabs are sold by the board foot. To calculate the board feet you multiply thickness by width by length. Thickness and width are listed as inches, and then need to be calculated into feet before being multiplied by the length (which is listed in feet).
For example: 3″ thick x 24″ wide x 5′ length = 30 board feet. (3″x24″ = 72″. Convert into feet: 72/12=6′. Multiply by length 6’x5’=30 board feet).
